About

Hello there!

My name is Tabitha, but you can call me Tab.

Tell me about yourself…
I hail from the great Windy City, Chicago. (Yes, it does indeed get pretty breezy). I’ve lived here for 27 years of life and got married to the LOML Witness on September 19, 2015. We have a furry son named Cashew; he’s a feisty and adorable big dog stuck in a 8-pound body.  I studied English and Secondary Education in the cornfields of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I’m currently studying for a Masters in Theology Studies at TEDS. I’m a Christian, wife, seminarian, educator, worship-leader, singer-songwriter, and eater of most things delectably edible. I love to share, and my desire is to build and encourage people. By nature, I’m a highly sensitive introvert and a type one on the Enneagram scale, but I enjoy expressing myself in well-crafted words and song.

Why do you blog?
I began this blog because I wanted to share stories, theological lessons, reflections from experience, and meaningful songs with you. It’s basically a compilation of life, the story of perfection progress, and a journey on the road to Joy. My hope is that this blog is a communal space for theologians, worshipers, life-long learners, and world-changers. If you’re interested in any of those things, I think we’ll get along just fine.
